September 6, 2001 was the first post, and featured this quote: “Money can’t buy happiness, but it takes the edge off.” A few days later, 9/11. By October, the U.S. had started to get back to normal: Bert from Sesame Street is co-opted by the Taliban to promote Osama Bin Laden in a poster, from someone who didn’t understand that “Bert is Evil” was an in-joke on popular discussion board Metafilter.

  • December 1999

BizzyWeb LLC is officially registered as a business in Minnesota. We start working with businesses to build HTML websites out of Oakdale, MN. In its first business plan, the company outlines its strategic advantage as the willingness to create websites its clients can easily maintain.

BizzyWeb.com is officially registered as a domain name. A website will come shortly thereafter. The name came from BizzyWeb’s new owner Dave Meyer searching for amalgamations of Business and Web.
