If you’re going to write your own blog or even write your own website content, there’s more to it than copying text from in your hard-copy brochure. There are right and wrong ways to quote other websites, linking standards, and rules for grammar on the web. And you need to write so your content gets found on the web and is useful to your readers. It can seem difficult, but if you know the basics writing for the web is pretty simple. For example it’s a great idea to use bullet points to make your pages scannable, include lots of links to relevant content, and include a call to action or “what to do next” item on every page.
For help on blogging and other writing tips for the web, join our weekly Buzz Builders webinar with BizzyWeb’s very own content curator, Ingrid Hornibrook, Wednesday at noon.
